Investing in Canada Mining

Investing in Canada mining projects and operations are undergoing a renaissance of sorts. There's been a resurgence in hard asset investing, as political instability is growing globally. Some really good camps in Canada and the US that had been forgotten are being rediscovered; notable among these are the Timmins, Kirkland Lake and Red Lake camps. There is also a lot of money going into West Africa.
The issue of rising costs is starting to cut into margins for mining companies, however. The prices of commodities used in mining like oil, steel, and equipment are all on the rise. To protect against these rising costs, investors can put heir money into royalty and streaming companies which have fixed costs and actually benefit from upward movement in commodity prices. Investors are looking back to the massive bull run in gold prices of the 70's-80's, and expecting a repeat performance. The only way this outcome will not come to pass, according to industry analysts, is if central banks suddenly start behaving more prudently.
